I am a private collector, retired from teaching media, past president of ARSC, a member of ARSC since 1971 and of IASA since 1973.
My daughter Leah is also a collector, a member of both ARSC and IASA, and video records the conference with me. We presented a video at last year's conference showing 1988-1998 conferences. It can be seen on YouTube. I am administrator of the largest 78 record oriented facebook group, "78 rpm records and cylinders fan group". My PhD dissertation is "The Making and Use of Recordings in Broadcasting Before 1936" and is available on-line.
