Vincent Fromont coordinates the restoration and mastering activities of Radio collection at INA since 1998. He started working as a musician (classical music singer). Then he worked in audiovisual production, and joined INA in 1993 as a technician, specialized in audio transfers and restoration. In 1999, he worked on preservation and digitization program of Radio collection by contributing to the requirements specifications. Within the same framework, he contributed to the setting up of quality control standards for digitized audio archive material. Vincent Fromont is also a teacher and instructor and has been giving lectures on audio records History and on audio archives restoration for the last 15 years. He works with both professionals participating in a vocational training within Ina as well as students.
